This free writing is based off of a sentence James took from his free writing of "The Cherry Orchard".

"I looked at the Cherry Orchard as an area of my life where I could channel a lot of my energy and see a result at the end that would signify my ability to create."


I read this sentence and I'm surprised at how raw and true it is. My ability to create is something I believe is not an end result but a process as well. Ability to create embodies one's best and worst attributes. Whether that may be the best in terms of ability to connect with people, collaborate, bring out ideas in people or be compassionate, kind and understanding or the worst in terms of obstinance, selfishness, tyranny, all these aspects together represent someone's ability to create. Doing this with my peers would be an experience that would transform me
